Cooperative Mutual Insurance Company (CMIC) is licensed to sell insurance in 23 states: AR, CO, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, MT, ND, NE, OH, OK, OR, SD, UT, TX, WA, WI, and WY.

Coverage is only available to farmer-owned cooperatives whose facilities are located within these states. CMIC markets its products through employees in the states of KS, NE, and SD. Products are marketed through select independent agencies in AR, CO, IA, ID, IL, IN, KY, MI, MN, MO, MT, ND, OH, OK, OR, UT, TX, WA, WI, and WY.
